Where wrist pain comes from
Your wrist and forearm make thousands of small movements a day. What I see most often:
- overload from computer and phone use – the wrist bent back on the keyboard, the thumb on the screen,
- tingling fingers, which can be linked to a compressed nerve at the wrist, elbow or neck,
- a stiff, tight forearm.
How I work
- Initial assessment – we talk about where and when it hurts, what makes it worse and how you move during the day.
- Diagnosis – by looking, movement and touch.
- Manual therapy – manual release of muscle chains in their wider context.
- Targeted exercises – targeted exercise for strength and long-term relief.
